Our Mission...

is to create natural snacks that energize people to live a happy, healthy life!

Grab-The-Gold-Danielle-Ontiveros-In-The-Kitchen

Grab The Gold was created in 1990 by Danielle Ontiveros when she was just 16 years old because she couldn’t find a snack bar that tasted great and kept her full.

Originally developed in her mother’s kitchen in New Orleans, this wholesome recipe that grew from humble beginnings is the tradition that continues today.

Despite losing everything in Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Danielle was inspired to rebuild her life and business in Nashville after receiving encouragement and compassion from local customers.

After moving to Tennessee, we have continued to handcraft simple, high-quality ingredients in small batches in our own facility.

Over 25 years later, we are proud that Grab The Gold is a snack bar loved for generations

We are blessed with an awesome team!

Each person has a heart of gold and an unstoppable work ethic. We are all here to serve you by making the best product possible and being available to help you with ordering and any questions you may have.

Danielle

Founder & CEO

Involved in daily operations, Danielle juggles all the aspects of growing a business with a contagious enthusiasm. Public speaking, research and new product development are her passions. Danielle has a big heart, loves being around her team, and celebrates their successes.

Danielle cannot resist puppies or baby goats. She has traveled to over 30 countries, and loves international cuisine. Not many people know that she was an NFL sports massage therapist for 10 seasons, and she learned to fly before she could drive!

KATHY

Office Manager

We are excited to welcome Kathy, the newest member of the team, who brings 20+ years of management experience. Kathy has a passion for detail and organization as well as an ability to immediately see the big picture. Her smile and quick laughter are infectious, yet she is all business!

Kathy squeezes the most out of life, recently traveling to Italy, Belize and Cuba. She loves minions, but she’d rather be Gru! Kathy likes sparkling wine, and reading her favorite author, Jonathan Kellerman, by a fire pit.

Annie

Customer Care

Annie is an indispensable member of our team because she has so many talents. She is laser focused, highly efficient and has an uncanny ability to solve just about any problem! Whenever one of us is stumped, Annie waves her wand and fixes our issue!

Fun fact: Annie loves giraffes! Adored by her family, Annie visits Minnesota and Florida every chance she gets, although she now calls Nashville home. Several times a month, she visits small music venues to support her favorite local singer/songwriters.

Chris

Design and Technoloy Consultant

Chris is an invaluable asset, and a bit of a unicorn in his field! His skills are multi-faceted, spanning tech, design and marketing. He brings enthusiasm and tireless energy to every project, and researches daily the ever-changing landscape of digital marketing.

Chris balances his tech work with natural living on an island in the Pacific Northwest with his family. Chris eats clean, passionate about sourcing organic food farm to table and cooking all of their food. His specialized hobby is bladesmithing: @skarparibladeworks

We have received so many compliments on our production team from inspectors. We are proud of them and you can have confidence your snack bars are made with love!
