10 Nashville Murals You Need to Visit

One thing in Nashville that might be growing faster than the city itself: the mural scene. Thanks to the Nashville Walls Project, artists worldwide are coming and showing their talents on some of Nashville’s blank walls. While you may be familiar with the angel wings mural in the Gulch by Kelsey Montague or the “I believe in Nashville” murals from DCXV, here are ten murals around town that you might not have seen yet.

Location: Germantown, across from Henrietta Red

Artist: The Kind Way

What to do: After taking photos at the mural, you could eat at Henrietta Red, 312 Pizza, Germantown Café or City House. You can also shop at Wilder, Abednego and Pieces Boutique.

Location: Nations Mural on the side of Music City Tents & Events

Artists: Brian Wooden , Herb Williams , Rebel Lowks SickArte, Audie Adams , Mobe Oner , Folek Kelof , Chris Zidek , Tess Erlenborn Art , Troy Duff , Emily Miller and Ehsor

What to do around it: This mural is a bit off-the beaten-path. But if you hit Centennial Blvd you’ll find yourself at Frothy Monkey, Project 615, and Able. Feel free to park and walk around a little!

Location: On Charlotte Pike next to Richland Park

Artist: Murals & More // Michael Cooper
What to do: Walk around Richland Park and stop for lunch at M. L. Rose or Taqueria Del Sol. You could also grab coffee and lunch at the newly-renovated Thistle Farms Café.

What to do: Grab a coffee at Bongo East and walk around 5 Points. You can eat at Marché, or I Dream of Weenie. Browse and buy your new favorite instrument at Fanny’s House of Music, or rent a bicycle for a city cruise at Eastside Cycles. If you want to see another mural, walk a few blocks to Five Points Pizza.

Location: Five Points Pizza

Artist: Nathan Brown
What to do: Enjoy a slice of pizza! Five Points Pizza is some of the best in Nashville.
